Witness to Revolution: The Story of Anna Louise Strong

Follow the life of author and labor activist Anna Louise Strong in a free screening of this award-winning documentary “Witness to Revolution: The Story of Anna Louise Strong”, followed by a discussion with the film director Lucy Ostrander. In 1984, Ostrander received a grant from the Washington State China Relations Council to obtain rare archival footage in China for the movie. She is also the director of “the Revolutionary” (www.revolutionarymovie.com), featuring one of the founding governors of WSCRC Sydney Rittenberg, which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2012.
