DESCRIPTION

WSCRC’s US-China Women’s Leadership Forum seeks to provide a platform for C-suite level women leaders whose professional roles involve advancing US-China-WA state trade, investment, cultural, and education relations to exchange ideas and thought leadership . The Forum facilitates high-level networking for women in all sectors who are professionally engaged with China/Asia outreach while supporting pay-it-forward efforts, such as professional mentoring and coaching.

Joining the WSCRC for this session of the US-China Women’s Leadership Forum is Sue Bennett, the Executive Director of Leadership Tomorrow (LT), an organization whose purpose is to cultivate, inspire, connect and engage an effective community of leaders. Before becoming Executive Director, she was the Senior Leadership Manager, developing curriculum for the annual 10-month program. Prior to LT, Sue was the Senior Learning Manager at Philanthropy Northwest, an organization that works with grant makers in six northwest states to promote effective, collaborative grantmaking. Sue has worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, and is serving or has served on the boards of the Washington Women’s Foundation, Child Care Resources, Planned Parenthood, Cancer Lifeline and the Reed Coleman Family Foundation. She graduated from Stanford University and was in the LT Class of 1994. Sue is confident that our region’s future is in good hands because she meets and works with dedicated, wise, and purposeful leaders on a daily basis.
