CHINA Town Hall: national webcast and on-site discussion with national and local experts on U.S.-China Bilateral Relations

China’s rapid development and Sino-American relations have a direct impact on the lives of nearly everyone in the United States. CHINA Town Hall is a national conversation about China that provides Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to discuss issues in the relationship with leading experts. The National Committee on U.S.-China Relations will present its thirteenth annual CHINA Town Hall on November 18, 2019, at 3 PM (Pacific Time), taking place at over 80 venues across the United States and China.

The two-part event, sponsored by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and the Washington State China Relations Council (WSCRC) features a national webcast discussion as well as an on-site discussion. George Stephanopoulos will moderate the webcast discussion; he will be joined by expert panelists Stephen Orlins, Melanie Hart, Dr. Yasheng Huang, and Dr. Ely Ratner. Part two, the local town hall, will be moderated by Dr. Spencer Cohen, Senior Economist at Community Attributes.

The national webcast is schedules from 6:00-7:00 PM (Eastern) / 3:00-4:00 PM (Pacific) followed by the on-site discussion on U.S.-China trade relations from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.
