To date the RMB has appreciated over 15 percent to the dollar, adding marginally to inflationary pressure on the average U.S. consumer. Stuck somewhere in the middle of a declining dollar, inflation in both the countries and an appreciating Yuan are many U.S. importers, ill-prepared to absorb their increased costs of doing business. On May 28th with the assistance of United Commercial Bank we will take up the question of how to hedge your contracts in China against the appreciation of the Yuan and declining dollar
