Dennis Bracy
Avatar Studios
Dennis Bracy is Chairman of Avatar Studios, a company that produces television programs and websites for clients around the world, including pioneering television programming in China.

Avatar's work ranges from creating 30-second television and radio spots to producing full-length television programs. Bracy led the first American team that co-produced prime-time television programs in China. The team produced a number of highly popular series, including a sitcom, a variety program, a travel series and a number of documentaries.

Victor Chan

Victor Chan, Vice President, U.S. Bank, International Banking Group, serves as the country manager for Greater China and Southeast Asia region. He is responsible for managing the bank's business portfolio and credit risk exposure in those regions. He was educated in Singapore and the USA and has an MBA from the University of Washington. Victor has 20 years of corporate and international banking experience in the United States and Southeast Asia.

Linda S. Cheever

Linda Cheever is President of the Danaher China Management Board and has oversight of Danaher sales and manufacturing operations including for Fluke and other Danaher operations. Responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives across Danaher companies in China, developing leadership talent and organizational capability to support that growth, providing “incubation” for Danaher companies new to China, and supporting sourcing and manufacturing strategies for domestic and export markets.

Allen D. Clark
Davis Wright Tremaine
Al Clark is a partner in the Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine. He has recently returned from living and working in China, where he was the Partner-in-Charge of Davis Wright Tremaine’s Shanghai office and acted as a client advisor in China for 3½ years. Mr. Clark is a business and commercial transactions lawyer whose practice emphasizes foreign direct investment in China. He is a frequent speaker on doing business in China and works closely with the Shanghai office in advising clients on investments and business operations in China.

Nelson G. Dong
Dorsey & Whitney LLP
Nelson Dong is a partner with the Seattle office of the Dorsey & Whitney international law firm. He is chair of his firm's National Security Law Practice Group and co-chair of its Asian Law Practice Group. He specializes in international technology-based business transactions and investments, including product distribution or sourcing arrangements and intellectual property licenses, particularly in the Greater China region, where he collaborates with colleagues in his firm's Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. He was the 2006 President of the WSCRC and remains on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is a director of the National Committee on US-China Relations in New York City. He is also a member of the Pacific Council of International Policy in Los Angeles and the Committee of 100 in New York City. He is a frequent speaker and author on international business and technology law matters and has an extensive background in U.S. national security matters and export control law. He was a White House Fellow, senior Justice Department official and federal criminal prosecutor. He previously served as a trustee of Stanford University and on the Yale Law School Association Executive Committee.

Edwin Green

Edwin is an international tax principal in the Deloitte Tax Seattle office. His practice focuses on assisting companies expand their international footprint while managing their effective tax rate and cash tax expense. Edwin’s experience includes creating and implementing global earnings management solutions, structuring transactions to minimize the impact of subpart F and the PFIC regime, identifying appropriate jurisdictions/sites for business expansion, and solving withholding tax, treaty interpretation, and international controversy issues.

Joseph J. Borich
President
Prior to his current position, Mr. Borich was a Foreign Service Officer. He entered the Foreign Service in 1972 Prior to his current position, Mr. Borich was a Foreign Service Officer. He entered the Foreign Service in 1972 and was closely associated with the China field throughout most of his career, serving under every president from Nixon to Clinton in a China-related capacity. His last assignment was as Consul General in Shanghai from October 1994 through June 1997; he previously helped open this Consulate General in 1980. He also served as Director of the Taiwan Coordination staff in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs in the Department of State, and prior to that as the last Deputy Chief of Mission in the former U.S. Embassy in Mogadishu.
